Stories of Hope: Awareness Campaign for Palliative Care in Romania (2023

The book "Stories of Hope" is a collection of children's stories designed to provide emotional support and understanding, written with sensitivity and empathy to help young readers explore difficult topics in an accessible way.

Written by Mihai Mănescu and published by Humanitas Junior with the support of Up România, the book serves an educational and awareness-raising purpose, addressing themes of community support and inclusion. Inspired by the real stories of children receiving care at HOSPICE Casa Speranței, the book is meant to be read together, fostering dialogue about the challenges of incurable diseases and pediatric oncology.

A total of 1,000 copies were distributed free of charge to children and parents affected by incurable diseases, both within the HOSPICE Casa Speranței foundation and in centers coordinated by the CONIL foundation.

The "Stories of Hope" project, launched at Bookfest, was recognized at the Romanian CSR Awards 2024, where it received 2nd place in the Cause Related Marketing category.
