Development and implementation of the technological solutions for the Tech Rooms, created by a partnership between the Vodafone Romania Foundation and HOSPICE Casa Speranţei.
More than 100 children from Romania, patients with incurable or life limiting illnesses, cared by HOSPICE Casa Speranţei in Bucharest and Braşov, have benefited from therapy sessions based on virtual and augmented reality. This solution was conceived to help the children to cope with the disease, as well as assist the medical procedures that can sometimes be extremely painful. With the Tech Room, children can escape for a while in a reality where they can climb on Everest, they can land on the Moon with Neil Armstrong, they can fly in a city as an eagle or they can swim with the dolphins.
